Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-tech Development Zone is one of the most famous high-tech zone of China. Established and approved by the State Council of China in 1991, this area of 470 square kilometers includes eighteen sub-parks, gathers more than 50,000 scientific and technological enterprises and more than 1,400 research and development organisations.

Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-tech Development Zone has developed new industry clusters, such as next generation information technology, bio-medicine, new energy, new materials, high-end equipment manufacture, energy-saving and environment-friendly industry, new-energy vehicles and cultural fusion with science and technology.

That’s why, in partnership with Brussels Invest Export and SHIPs (Shanghai Hi-Tech Industrial Parks), EU Liaison Office, BetaGroup organizes a business trip to the Shanghai Hi-Tech Park next November!

Program

This program is still a work in progress. Our goal is to provide the best business experience for all participants. If you have special business needs, feel free to ask. BetaGroup, Innochance and our Chinese partners will do their best to organise meetings with the business/technological partner of your choice.

Day 1 – Sunday 22st of November: Departure from Brussels National Airport with a Brussels Airlines flight. Estimated flight duration: 11 hours.

Day 2 – Monday 23nd of November: Arrival at the Crown Plaza Shanghai Fudan.

Day 3 – Tuesday 24rd of November:
9:00    Visit to the Shanghai Outsourcing Promotion Center (www.ospc.cn/en), located in Shanghai Pudong Software Park.
14:00    Visit to the Tongji University Incubator

Day 4 – Wednesday 25th of November:
ICT B2B Event: Meeting the potential complementary business or technological partners in Shanghai.

Day 5 – Thursday 26th of November:
09:00    Visit shanghai S&T investment co. Ltd
The Shanghai Science and Technology Investment Corporation (SSTI) was established in 1992 and was the first state-owned venture capital company devoting for the commercialization of science and technology achievements
14:00    Espace Rhône-Alpes – French Oversee incubator center (SME Incubator Center)

Day 6 – Friday 27th of November:
Visit the Shanghai Lingang Industrial Zone and relevant companies.
Day 7 – Saturday 2th of November
9:00    Visit to Xintiandi
14:00    Visit the Shanghai World Financial Centre

Day 8 – Sunday 29th of November:
Check out and Flight back to Brussels with Brussels Airlines.

Prices

The total price for one person (including flight, accommodation, catering, local transport, guide and translator + meetings organisation) in single room is 3 500 €. Private expenses (like minibar, drinks not included in the menu…) are not included.
