The photo, the main criterion for choosing a smartphone

For 80% of Belgians, the quality of the camera is the decisive criterion when purchasing a new smartphone, according to a study conducted by LG Electronics in Belgium.

A study conducted by LG Electronics in Belgium on the role of the smartphone camera as well as consumer expectations for the future of mobile phones reveals some interesting information for sales professionals.

It therefore appears that the camera is one of the most important features of a smartphone when purchasing it: 80% of Belgians choose their device based on the quality of the built-in camera.

The study also reveals that almost half of Belgians between 18 and 34 use their smartphone more to take photos than to make calls. The mobile is a means of sharing their emotions and experiences with others.

Another juicy detail: 25% of people over 55 in Belgium would like the latest technical innovations to be present on their new smartphone. An age group that increasingly places more emotional value on their smartphone.
