Eventer, the new Belgian photo sharing app
Its designers started from a simple observation: the smartphone has become the essential witness of our private and social life, and each event is now immortalized by all the participants, or almost. The idea was therefore to find an easy and effective way to allow the sharing of photos between all the people who participate in the same event.
In practice, the “host” creates an event and the “guests” join it thanks to their geolocation or by invitation (via SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger or even Snapchat). Everyone can add photos directly on Eventer or from another photo application (Instagram, Camera Native, Maskerade, Facesawap, …).
Eventer presents in real time all the photos added by all the “guests” through a simple interface and in chronological order. Each user can then identify, like, share or contact the person who took the photo, as well as the other participants.
Available for free on iOS and Android, promotional tools have also been developed for event organizers and sponsors, giving them the opportunity to liven up their events by involving their audience in a unique experience and increasing their visibility.
